DefaultMy Last Two Pictures Of Tankie

Thought I would post these. My daughter took these when we were visiting in Canada last week out by the fire pit at the campground we were staying at. And also one of the first pictures of him.

Is it crazy - but I have his collar in my bedroom closet and sometimes I just can't help but pick it up and smell it. It still smells like him. Kind of a fresh clean smell even though the collar has been on him for years.

Thank you for all your condolences for my boy and the many prayers and thoughts you have sent out through the years. He will always be in our hearts here at "The Black Dog Lodge".

I couldn't have said it better. Tank will always have a special place in my heart. And, no, it's not crazy about the collar. It was weeks after we lost Mick before the hair where he layed at the bottom of the stairs was vacuumed up.

BTW- I've been wondering something- your siggy says Tank was born in 2008. I thought he was older than that?

That was a typo or just a plain brain fart....it was 1998 not 2008. Thanks for letting me know. It's fixed.

It was almost too painful to open the thread to see his pics, but I'm glad I did. Young looking even at the end!
(I remember his baby pic with the decoys.)

He was a very handsome boy. No it is not weird about the collar when ym lab Abby was hit and killed I kept her collar under my pillow for months and months. Then one day I just realized I needed to move on and remember the good memories not the bad memories so I hung the collar in my closet. Now everytime I open it up I remember some good memories
