I recently rescued a 3 year old lab from life in a pen. He was neutered at the proper age, but has a strong tendency to "hump" other dogs. His former owner let him run wild at parties and this was his favorite activity if other dogs were there. What can I do to stop this. He is steadily learning everything else I want him to do. My older dog taught him not to bother him, but he does it with new dogs.

Bentley did that to and I would say ah! Fermly and he would stop and then get a good boy for stopping. He humped the head all the time for some reason so it was even more embarrassing. So everytime you see him doing it stop him. Bentley will do it every now and then but I think it is a dominance issue.
