Wow, he must be a big puppy. My BFF has a male yellow lab and he is 4 yrs now and weights around 85 lbs. My Roxy is 16 weeks and weights 36.2 lbs, she's a female doggie but the vet thinks that she might be a big girl. To me she looks kind of chubby but vet thinks that she is fine.

There are some male labs that can weight up to 100 lbs. He looks fine to me, he must be very solid all muscle!

If vet didn't put him on diet he is fine, most vets wants labs to no be overweight so he must be just a muscle big boy. Don't worry he is fine. Like I said my Roxy is 16 wks and weights 36.2 and vets just said that she was going to be in the big end chart her paws are huge!

My Bentley is around that weightand is a year old and my Tank is 80 some pounds but your boy looks healthy He must have good muscle tone. If the vet wasn't worried I wouldn't be either.

Like people, Labradors come in all sizes. Hard to say what weight your lab should be. The weight guidelines you saw are just an estimate to give you a guideline to follow. Some Labs will be below that, some above it, some right on. If your vet isn't concerned then I wouldn't worry. My one lab when he goes to the vets, they are very surprised when they weigh him. He doesn't look Heavy, and he weighs 108lbs. (Vet would like to see him 10 lbs lighter).

They don't actually keep growing at the rate they have been as puppies. At 7 months, they are just about done. I would expect that the dog might end up around 80-90# depending on muscle tone etc.
