Natasha, 'Tash', passed on to Rainbow Bridge yesterday. She was 12.5 years old. This was the dog that lived outside for 10.5 years. She was well taken care of, but had never set a paw in the house. For whatever reason, they brought her in about 2 years ago, and she has never been outside alone since. The poor girl got all the spoiling she missed for 10.5 years in her last2 years. She really slipped off this past month, they put over $1000 into figuring out what was going on without success. They were taking her in for another test yesterday and she started bleeding froom her nose on the way.
So that's the story. I was talking to the Mom this morning and asked if they had thought about another dog. Hmmm! A little delay, and then she said, 'Robin always wanted a yellow of white??? Lab.' Robin is their 28 year old daughter that still lives at home. She has some psychological problems and I don't knw if she will ever be out on her own. But she loves to take care of whatever dog they have had. I think she is the one that convinced dad to let Tash move inside two years ago. So, if anyone in the Twin Cities knows of a yellow lab in the need of anew home, I think I may know where one might be.
