Today Bruno had a string hanging from his mouth, and I called him to get it out. The other three always let me look into their mouths, ears, cut claws, etc. Not Bruno. When I called him, he backed away, arched back/pharo ears...would not come to let me look in his mouth. When I used a stern voice and insisted that he come to me, the other three, Mitzi, Judy, and even Duke got between me and B as if to protect him. I know Bruno is very sensitive, but the other three dogs know that too. They knew that stern voice was too much for him. ( I eventually sweet talked him and got the string out.)
They are good dogs You know nothing bad will happen to him atleast
~It doesn't matter how smart the dog is,it matters how smart the owner is.
He is their packmate and they stand up for him...good for them.
Karon and Cinnamon
Aw...they are protecting his brother.
But not uncommon. I have always had multiple dogs, and the unscolded one does not like the other one "catching it". They typically come to me placing themselves between me and the one in trouble, tail wagging, lick my face as if to say "don't have a cow, it's no big deal". Today it was cute that three intervened on Bruno's behalf.Interesting behavior.
That is interesting and so cute.
If I use a stern voice to Erns Gems protects him. If I tell her off he bites him. lol.
How cute and touching!
