and very glad i did. the owners before us told us that she was utd on all her shots and wouldnt need them again for a while. we texted them after we got her because she gave us the vet she previously went to but we didnt get her last name from her and the vet needed that. well the people we got her from changed there number and we had no idea how to get her shot record which we should of just got when we got her. we called the vet and told them the situation and they said it would be better for her to get her shots twice then to not get them at all and with the date the people told us she needed her shots next was too far away so they were wrong. when we got to the vet she got all of her puppy shots and got a check up. the doctor said she had a very very small heart murmur which was very hard to hear so that was a little scary. but says it happens with puppies and they usually grow out of it that its just something to watch out for. the nurse also said her intestins were just a bit inflamed and it might be because of worms but gave her medicine to clear all of that up. they also seem to think she is mixed with pit bull, which i dont agree with(but hey there the proffesionals) when i look up pit/lab puppies they dont look alike. Im thinking more boxer/lab. Anyways she is on a plan that they have there that gets her all of her shots all of her check ups and basically everything she needs including a spay so she is good to go now! nothing too exciting but i figured i would share it anyways. hopefully her murmur goes away and everything else should be fine.
Glad to hear everything went well even without the records. Please post pictures of Cali!
Glad you took her to the vet. Can't wait for some more pics of her.
thanks! hope next time there is no more murmur. glad i dont have to worry about her shots though
I see you are concerned about the murmur. Zoe had a murmur as a puppy, and it did go away. I hope this is the case for Cali.

thank you. i hope it is the same for cali. it will be in the back of my mind until she goes back for her shots in a couple weeks. i hope its gone by then. its nice to hear that you had the same problem and it went away though. makes me feel 100x better.
Hope the murmur goes away. Glad she is good otherwise.
the site also said that if it does go away, it's usually between 12-16 weeks. don't know how old Cali is. Again, I truly hope it will go away.
Zoe is 8-1/2 years old and still a very active dog.
