Defaultjust a question for those of you with multiple dog families

We have 3 labs, Abby almost 8, Dodge just turned 7, and Toby our 17 month old lab/husky mix.............. they are almost constantly playing bity face, leg, tail or something ........does everyone with multiples have this going on? We think maybe it is that little guy(you know the 100 pound baby) that is starting everything, and if it was just the 2 older ones it wouldn't happen as much. Anyone with this situation?

Yup, that happens here and half the time Tank ends it pretty darn quite. I do not blam Tank for a minute. If they get annoyed they will tell the other dog.

Oh! Oh! Why, yes! I can address this topic.

I have six dogs and a cat. The household is in a constant state of bitey face with the labs, chase-me-chase-me with the beagles, the never-ending herding and "LISTEN TO ME" behaviour of the border collie, and the very annoying barking signifying "I'm guarding EVERYONE here tonight" from the Lhasa.

    All my dogs are seniors.

The cat? She is young and in love with Flynn (lab). He will stop anything he is doing to nuzzle on her as she passes by his nose.

It is a good animal farm here. Noisy sometimes, but when it's all over? Unimaginable harmony.

Ours isn't constant but we certainly have it. (2 labs and Shih Tzu). The youngest, almost three, starts it but the Shih Tzu keeps it going. As Ben as gotten older it has become less frequent in the house but it happens twice daily on their off leash walks.

I only have 2 labs-Java (27 months) and Moka (21 months) but yes, our house is like WWE Smackdown 24/7. Although is has been quiet for the last 2 weeks because Moka was spayed and we've had to keep her quiet.
She's off restrictions tomorrow and will be allowed to play with Java again, so I am fully expecting all hell to break loose!!

Good lord yes! Eddie and JJ (5 yo shih Tzu) are at it every day, either one initiates depending on depending on the mood.

Fanny & Eddie have not lately since Fanny took ill, though he tried very hard. The past couple of days that has changed, Fanny has been raring to go and is giving as good as she gets. It is a joy to see her enjoying a good rousing session of bitey face no matter how short. And, boy, does it get loud!!!!! Eddie always initiates these sessions. When Fanny tries to start a session at the park Eddie runs away!

Only 2 - Dinozzo is almost 2 and Max 6 months...Max is a terrier and, true to his roots, can be the most annoying little brat as far as Dinozzo is concerned. A few weeks ago, Dinozzo's back legs were so badly bitten I had to take him to the vet - but he will not retaliate!!! Doesn't even growl at Max - I wish he would; little blighter needs putting in his place!
