We are 6 weeks post osteosarcoma diagnosis and this dog doesn't know it. She knows her limitations but doesn't seem upset about them.
This week she has been trying to use the bad leg, putting her weight on it as she walks. Of course she limps but it doesn't stop her and she doesn't do it for long, a few steps maybe. This morning she and Eddie chased a squirrel across the patio and she moved like there was nothing wrong with her. Charging across that patio on all four legs focused on getting the squirrel who was up the tree and waving at them from the top branch, well maybe not, she then trotted off to do her business and then came in. I know she was a little sore when she came in but no complaints from her.
SU is convinced it is the holy water he puts on her every night - he stopped blessing her and now supposedly says a prayer as he does it. It may be the probriotics or the vitmains and minerals I have added to her food regimen but whatever it is, we likey!
I'm so happy to hear that Fanny is still doing well.
Keep it up Fanny!!
And hey, Holy Water..whatever it takes!!
