Seems we go there alot. First...
Molly - Her ear never cleared up completely. So today the vet put something in it like the consistency of toothpaste with a long syringe. IWe are not to clean nor touch her ear for two weeks, then she goes back for a recheck.
Kate - She was at the vet's Tuesday for her last set of shots. All went well. Thursday morning SU noticed her right side of her snout was swollen. Hmmmm...too late possibly for a reation to the shots. But what do we know. So they both went in this morning & Kate has a dark grey tooth. Probably infected. Could be from trauma...they play rough, or chewing on her Nylabones. But our vet said she is not going to send us to a dental vet because this is a baby tooth. Kate did not cry or yelp when the vet touched it. So she is on Clavamox & Rimadyl.
Thank goodness Abby has been okay. I was working so SU took them. He said they were very good girls. I will be thrilled to go one month without seeing our vet.
Kate looked like a black Spud McKenzie.
Good healing thoughts for Molly and Katie. Hope they both are feeling better soon.

Have you considered pet insurance? I've never had it with any dogs I own but when I adopted my 6 yr old I thought maybe I just better. I researched all the top companies and found Embrace to suit us best. With all your trips it might not be a bad idea. I think they give discount for mulit dogs. I've only had Koko for 3 weeks and we have been to vet 3x's now! So I know how you feel!
I hope everything settles down, Georgie, and you can get those vet visits down to annuals only!

Glad to hear they will be healing up! I wonder what the vet put in her ear? Sorry about the tooth, that must hurt! hopefully it will fall out soon and that will be the end of it.
That is a whole lot of vet visits, Georgie! Hopefully things settle down now!

Hopefully this will be the end of the trips once you get Mollys ear cleared up. Seems like its always something, but we love our 4 legged kids so we do what we need to do.. So glad they both behaved for DH.
Hopefully the ear with clear up and the tooth will just fall out. Praying for no more vet visit.

When it rains it pours, right? Wishing the girls a speedy recovery and some time away from the vet for all of you!
