Kellogg's Skippy of Gallia,CGC !!!!
At the fine age of 9 years old, just 2 weeks from practically death's door, my boy got his first "title". I wasn't planning on it, but a week ago when my club announced they were going to give a CGC test, I thought "Skippy can do that!" Told SU - we're going to have to practice every night! (practiced about 3 nights). And last night, he did it - very well . His heeling was very nice (better than Emilu's), and he did well with the other things, but the more people were involved, the more excited he got - he never met a friendly stranger - all friendly people are FRIENDS who might have treats!. He did great with distractions and meeting other dogs. The main problem was, he decided he had been there long enough and wanted to head out the door to home. I was mostly concerned about the leaving him with someone 3 minutes while I was out of sight, but apparently he passed So now my boy can "retire" with his "title" and mom will quit thinking that he ought to be entered in Rally one more time!
My dear old friend
