When we went to obedience class last night we were surprised when the teacher said it was graduation day (she had told us it'd be next week). AND unfortunately we happened to stand at the end, and were chosen first to go... eek... Autumn needs some time to settle down and get in the groove.
She did much better than I thought she would given that all she was concerned about was playing. She definitely wasn't the top of the class, but definitely not the bottom. Given that she was the youngest in the class by years, we may run her through it again.
The mistakes that she got marked off far were more handler mistakes (corrections, not enough slack, etc.), however she was unable to complete the "group exercises" where she was expected to sit/stay and down/stay for a total of 8 minutes (she was able to do 5 but got disqualified because it wasn't the full 8).
Got her certificate hanging on the fridge!
Congratulations to you and Autumn!
