    HIYA, DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY RECIPES FOR ANY HOMEMADE DOG ODOUR SPARYS? I'VE BEEN LOOKING ONLINE AND I'VE CAME ACROSS SOME USING ESSENTIAL OILS BUT I'VE THEN READ THAT SOME ARE SAYING THAT THESE CAN BE HARMFUL?!

    Why on earth would you want to spray something on your dog ?

    not a good idea . find the source of the odor and then treat.

    Yeah, this is like treating the pain from being impaled with a nail with Tylenol and leaving the nail. Find the source, and you won't need to mask the smell. It could be the food, allergies, or something else. How does the dog's skin look? What about the ears? Has (s)he rolled in anything? When is the last time it went to the vet for a full checkup? There are lots of questions I'd want answered before I started just dousing the dog with perfume.

    Maybe the anal glans need checked. Good idea to see a vet for a check up.

    If your dog just has a musty smelling coat you can use a watered down Listerine solution to spray and wipe him down. It the smell is emanating from the ears, gut or butt - see a vet.
