I heard one time that the "sneeze" sort is their "laughter". Saba does it a lot when I first get home and he's wiggiling his butt and I pet him and we spend some time showing affection and love but perhaps it's one of those things similar to when people say that when babies smile they pass gas... I still think they're smiling who knows...
That's so funny, Diesel does it too when we cuddle. His timing is impeccable as is his aim. I was thinking it was him saying, ok mom, I'm done with the cuddles because when he sneezes it usually means I'm getting up asap to wipe off my face!
Asp sneezes sometimes when she is sitting next to me on the couch. I just thought she was allergic to me...
I really need to video the greeting I get from a dogwalking client, a wheaten terrier - not only does he greet me with these immense 3-4 foot bounces (from a standstill, straight into the air) but on special days he also throws in a series of full-body-shaking, throw the head up and then down and SNEEZE and SNEEZE and shake your head and SNEEZE and SNEEZE some more
Yes, its doggy laughing or an expression of joy.
I've been wondering about that. My two sneeze when they play together.

Sharon, Blaise and Diesel.
Angus regularly sneezes when we begin training. Simon sneezes when I am rubbing his belly, and will do so "on command" (if I sneeze at him, he will sneeze back at me).
