DefaultRemington Protected Us From Home Invasion!

I get home from work at 1:30 a.m. I usually potty the dogs and drop straight into bed.

Last night, I was just about asleep when Remington began to bark. He was in the family room. I yelled at him to be quiet.

About 10 minutes later, he exploded into barking again. I got up to see what was going on, let him outside for a moment, brought him back in, took him in bed with me and told him to be quiet.

Fifteen minutes or so later he left my bed and went back into the family room. About five minutes after that he exploded into barking again.

I got up again and walked around trying to find out what was bothering him.

    I thought I heard music.

    Went back to bed.

Remington exploded again and I got up again to see what in the world was bothering him, I was really starting to get spooked now.

Magnum and Ruger did not bark through all of this.

Walked around the house once more listening for anything "off". Then I heard that music again, very muffled and brief.

It was my danged cell phone, in my purse, it makes a tone when I have a message.

Bless him. Remington was protecting me from the invasion of the cell phone!!

but honestly, I'm glad he's a big black dog with a big big bark!!!

LOL. Abbey has a pretty "vicious" sounding bark, too, so I'm sure she would deter a lot of people from breaking in.

Atta boy! My fiance and I are in a hotel room right now and Daisy heard someone outside the door and did some big girl barking, I don't think we need to worry about a break in tonight, although she'd just lick them of course!

    Thats cute. Good boy Remington.

Sidebar: HK warns me everytime my daughter calls. The one that owns Louie the Cockapoo. It could have something to do with the ringtone I have for her. Its a Bark, Bark, .... HK goes nuts trying to find that other dog.
