DefaultGracie is back from the vets

She has no blockage...thank God, although I could see some very tiny objects in there that the dr. says she will pass with no problem. She has coccidia. They gave her something for the diarrhea and and some med for the coccidia. Has anyone had this problem?

Mine have never had it, but I'm glad to hear it's nothing serious and Gracie will be better soon!

Glad it is a minor thing and will clear up with meds!

Thank goodness, I was thinking about her this morning. From what I've read and heard Coccidia is fairly minor and should hopefully clear up no problem.

    Glad it isn't anything major.
(I have no idea what coccidia is.)

My cats have had coccidia. It cleared up pretty easily with medication, but it's very easily transmitted so it's really important to keep "potty areas" as clean as possible or recurrences can happen.

Angus had that one too. I don't remember what meds used, but I do remember that we didn't have a hard time getting rid of it for him
