Hey Sham... Seamus?
That guy who came Saturday. Mom called him The Carpenter.
Uh... he didn't even look at our car. What does the "penter" part mean?
Flynn. Never mind. A carpenter works with wood.
OH! Like... like... HEY! Was his name Joseph? Or... oh shoot... that other "J" guy!
No, Flynn. His name was Dave. Short for David.
DAVID! Well, I didn't see any star or anything on him. Why was he "David"?
Flynn. He was just... Dave.
Ya know, Shea, these guys who come into our house aren't too good with tennis balls and stuff. And did you see they way his lip curled at that rawhide I gave him???
*sigh* Flynnie, these guys come here to fix our house parts that don't work.
I shoulda given him one of our bears. Summa them need fixing.
That would have been nice, Flynn. Why didn't you do that?
Wuhl... what if he put a nail in it. Or somethin even worse??
Quit it, Flynn.
Oh yeah? OH YEAH??? What about Gladly? Gladly the Crosseyed Bear!
Flynn, we need to open that black book of Dad's sometime. You need lessons.
Okey dokey, Smokey! You read... I'll listen.
Sure, Flynn. We'll do just that some day.
Seamus and Flynn
So glad we got to listen in on Seamus and Flynn's report on the carpenter! I so love their talks!
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am

Thanks Nance, I really need a Seamus/Flynn conversation. The last 24 hours have been a bit overwhelming. Jim's Dad died suddenly on Friday and wasn't found till yesterday. Everything is a whirl wind at the moment. So, thanks so much for the laugh. Hugs to the black boys and all the rest. Love you
I am SO putting a Gladly the Crosseyed Bear on my Christmas list......
