DefaultFunny what you get used to....

I remember when I got my second lab 3 years ago thinking 2 made things kinda hectic...then I got used to it. Next we added a foster from Lab Rescue.... hectic at first but again we grew accustomed to 3 under foot. Then.... met the BF , who eventually moved in with his 2 girls, which brought the number of labs to 5! For a while it seemed insane... there were dogs everywhere. Well I came home the other day and did a head count because it seemed like someone was missing.. nope, all 5 there but it didn't seem like too many dogs. When did 5 become a "normal" number and not an "Oh My God" number??? Anyone else notice how easy it is to just keep adding......

DefaultFunny you should mention this ...............

....... but I seem to be afflicted with some kind of ADD A LAB virus just lately.

Like a moth to a flame, I don't seem to be able to keep away from the 'free to good home' lab / lab mix adverts on Kijiji ETAL.

I have decided that if I am going to do this, it will be a shelter rescue. I started out thinking 'foster' but who am I kidding? (People who's ads read 'my shifts have changed and I don't have time any more' are really pissing me off though, especially when the dog is like 10 months old!)

Pointers, suggestions, advice, AN INTERVENTION perhaps, welcome.

    Cheers,

    Brian H.

I'm at my limit too ( a little over if I must be honest!) With a litter (hopefully) on the way - too soon to tell - it is probably a good thing that I can NOT keep anymore - Please remind me of this in 49 days - give or take!!!!

Brian ~ My 5th foster ended up staying but I did manage to let 4 go to great homes before this one... and I am blaming him on the BF! Haha!!
