What would you guys recommend for a good quality flea and tic protection for our Labs? I know there are lots of products on the market thats why I need some adivice, Thanks
I use Frontline Plus for my two. We spent the entire summer on Long Island where ticks are horrible and neither dog had problems. I only treat every 2 1/2 to 3 months and stop in the winter.

I use Advantage for my boy. He used to be on Frontline, but seemed itchy in the summer. Advantage seems to work better for him.

I use Comfortis its a pill that she gets once a month I love it I have never seen a tick or a flea ever on her also it does not dry out her skin and I dont have to worry about puting it on wrong.
I use Advantix on both my girls.
Java used to be on Frontline, but it didn't work for crap...I found ticks on her and she ended up with Lyme at 5 months old. That's when I switched her to Advantix. When we got Moka I didn't even bother with the Frontline, just put her right on Advantix.
I haven't found a tick, or flea, on either of them since being on Advantix.
We live in MA, where the ticks are really nasty in the summer and fall...never a problem. My BF has had more ticks on him than the dogs have.
I just switched from Frontline Plus to Comfortis. The Frontline stopped being effective, and the dogs and my indoor-only cats all ended up with fleas. Getting rid of the fleas was a huge PITA (I had to treat the house, give everyone Capstar a few times, flea baths - real fun with cats - and treated the cats with Advantage and switched the dogs to Comfortis). Not a single flea on anyone since making the switch.
I use Revolution.

We were using Frontline Plus without any problems. My vet stopped carrying it and switched us over to Vectra 3D. We've been on that for 3 months without problems. The big greasy spot is much larger with Vectra and takes a little longer to go away.
