    DefaultJust a thank you..

It seems like lately, so many of our JL friends have lost their dear lab friends, so after reading so many kind and compassionate words....
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum. It is so wonderful to see people, most of whom will never meet one another, come together to help with kind words or wisdom when we need it most. Whether it be a sick or injured dog in need of prayers or the sadness that is shared when a lab friend crosses over the Rainbow Bridge, it is so nice to see people who care so much.

So just a little note to all my JL friends....you are greatly appreciated

    Ditto.
I was amazed at the outpouring of care and support when my girls were injured.
It is appreciated more than you guys know.
To be able to touch someone's heart and brighten their day, lift their mood and make them smile-without ever meeting them-is very special.

Great post. I get attached to the JL people and I have to say, I haven't cried this much in a long time with all the losses. It tears my heart out as if they were my own. Its nice to be in a place where others "get it". Many people dont understand the bond you can have with a dog, and quite frankly, I feel sorry for them.

Mom to Indy 6/12/98 to 11/16/11 (always in my heart), and Jobe 8-14-2000 to 6/24/2013 (Working TDI) English Labs, and Annie our Golden Retriever (TDI), and Kodiak (who will one day hopefully be a TDI dog if he doesn't kill me first).

I was thinking the same thing today while out on our walk. I don't post much but check everyday to see what is going on with everyone. We all have our dogs in common and it breaks my heart when we lose one. I feel as if I have lost a close friend. Hope that everyone who has lost a loved one lately knows how much we do care.
