My Labs. Water drinking hogs. And sloppy. Really sloppy. Fine by me.
My beagles. Just the right amount. And they lick their lips before they leave the water bowl.
Darwin is smart... he's gets his share between rounds of lab mania and then, he like B'rer Rabbit... he lay low.
It is my girl beagle they all give a wide berth to... "Oh! Her Ladyship needs to drink first. We'll wait." They give Her Ladyship first dibs at the water bowl, unless it is just after their retrieve sessions. Then it's "Beat it, sistah! We need it more than you do so SCAT!"
And Megan hovers over the rim of the bowl while the labs gulp down their well earned water.
She really can intimidate my black boys. It is comical.
HAH! Yes... Flynn used to be a bubble blower, too. It was so cute to watch him snuffle and blow... I guess he's outgrown that, but it sure was cute to watch in the early days.
Isn't it funny to see 2 big boys intimidated by a girl that weighs less then their head? Ceaser & Gus both stand aside for Heidi also. It cracks me up!
Abbey doesn't drink a crazy amount of water and she doesn't drip it all over the place, which I love. Toby, though, he is horrible. I swear he drinks GALLONS of water at a time and carries half of it with him in his mouth and trails it all over the place.. hahaha.

I have learned not to walk into the kitchen without shoes or slippers on unless I want wet socks. *shudders*. There are some hazards to my drippy drinker... going barefoot & sliding in a slobber spot on the kitchen floor. I am honestly surprised I have not hurt myself when that happens.
I can just see it now, the labs dripping everywhere, the beagles being oh so clean! My Daisy drips all over as she leaves the bowl, I find it cute and hope she always does it!
I finally purchased a self filling bowl for the pups to stop the cats from tipping the bucket over !
I didn't realise how much water that the bucket stopped from dripping on the floor ! I now have water on the floor 24/7 so back to square one only worse !
Wes' habit is to leave the waterbowl with a slobbery, dripping muzz. And then walk right up to the person who is most dressed up -- me in a suit, for example, prepping for Mass on Sunday -- and blot his schnoot on the pants.
Our 2 cats have their own water bowl but they always seem to drink out of Sadie's water bowl. The kitten puts both front feet on the rim and I have to make sure it's full because she has tipped it over several times!!
Rocky does his best work when I am wearing clean white sox and he has me pinned between his water bowl and the living room. He carefully walks around (while I am distracted doing dishes or making supper) and lays out his mine field of water slobber. He pretends he just wants to be around me and wiggle around in my small kitchen but I know otherwise. No wonder I have to do so many socks in the laundry in such a short period of time.
Oh I know! I'll never learn. Nice soft fresh white sox done in in one step.
It's enough to make a girl whimper.
