So Fitzy has been a trooper the past two weeks, enduring wearing a Christmas doggy sweater (it was the biggest one they had) to prevent him from scratching his staples out and not being able to play. He gets the staples out tomorrow then the first of 8 chemo treatments. He's been acting very strange today, not sure if it's coincidence or what. He's been very quiet and his tail has been tucked under--very unusual for him. DH said out loud what I thought of for a fleeting second--that he hopes the cancer hasn't spread and that's what is causing the odd behavior. We leave Friday morning for a week for a family vacation which we're looking forward to but had no idea that we would be doing the chemo routine when we planned it. The boys are staying with their trainer. I know they're in good hands but I'm going to worry nonetheless. Please send any good thoughts you can spare for Fitzy, they are much needed and much appreciated.
