DefaultDog got into a bottle of contact lens solution - dangerous?

Dog walked just called me telling me my dog got into a bottle of contact lens solution. Have any of you experienced that with your dogs? I don't know how much he actually drank, but assume at the most 6 oz, but likely less.

    Lab details:

    4 years old
    75-80 lbs

    Thanks

Should I just watch for stomach and "bathroom" issues? Dog walker said he seemed 100% normal. She gave him a few extra cookies in hopes to absorb anything he may have ingested.

How did he get into contact lens solution?! How much did he ingest? Quick call to your vet will ease your mind.

I spilled some one time (a fairly good amount) and my dog licked most of it up before I had a got a paper towel. I heard that it might give them the runs. My dog was fine. But I would call the vet just to double check.

Hmmm...interesting. I really don't know, but I'm inclined to think it would not be dangerous. After all, we put it pretty much directly into our eyes.

My official guess is that it might cause mild diarrhea or stomach upset. But I agree, if you're really worried you could call the vet.

I think it should be ok. I am pretty sure that is the stuff I use and my cat drank some from my lens case more than once and he was fine.
