His hips look great - no sign of hip disp. at all - all good in that department. His knees look great too and there is no sign of arthritis in his bones at all. So everything looks great where it should.
However on his right knee there was a very tiny fuzzy area on the x-ray (it is so small that the vet had to point it out to me twice for me to see it), it is right on his cartridge - in between the knee cap bones (excuse my lack of anatomy knowledge - I know even less about my own body). Anyway, that tiny fuzzy area she said might possibly be an inflammation that if not taken care of may lead to a cruciate damage injury and it is most likely what is bothering him.
So long story short, we caught it early enough that it will heal but Mr. Houdini is on Deramaxx for the next 7 days. He is also restricted to short potty walks only, no running, playing, jumping nor anything of the sorts for the next 10 days. I'm always over cautious so I'll probably keep him down for 2 weeks. The "fuzziness" as I call it was incredibly small but the vet said that it is best to give him anti-inflammatory drugs and keep him down for a while to ensure that it heals properly.
So I thank you all - the JL good thoughts worked its magic again I'm so glad and I hope his knee-fuzziness will heal fast.
Yay! Glad it was nothing serious.

That's great news !
I'm glad a little rest is all he needs!
Woohoo! That is great news.
Great news! It is always good to hear about one of ours that is doing well and recovering from the bad things.
