    DefaultSully ate Sunflower seeds

Should I be worried? She ate about a 1/4 cup of black oil sunflower seeds.

Mine love sunflower seeds...are they not supposed to eat them?

I'm sure Rhys has eaten a whole bag before, no ill effects.

(As an aside; Mr Basenji takes the shells off before he eats them, simply noteworthy and cute)

My golden "cleans up" after the birds on a daily basis. She must get at least a half of a cup of seeds daily. It does make her poop easy to pick up, LOL.

Oh, I forgot to add, suet is not good for dogs, too hard to digest and can cause blockages.

My guys will eat them when I scatter feed out for the birds. Never bothers them. Flynn is also very fond of the gigantic acorns that are falling right now. I worry about the tanic acid in the acorns but again, they don't seem to bother him one whit!

I don't think they are harmful, but one tip...... when Wyatt eats bird seed it comes out looking exactly the way it went in! Bird seed logs scattered around the yard!
