They ended up taking out 2 lymph nodes near his shoulder. DH is on his way to Ft. Collins to pick him up. I really hope he heals faster than with his leg tumor removal. We start chemo when he's healed and the stitches are out. No doggie daycare for either boys, no being around other doggies for either of them until a few months after the last chemo treatment--his immune system will be compromised. Hopefully the chemo won't take too much out of him. He was not happy to go to the CSU Cancer Center this morning--he's been there enough to know that what goes on there is not fun. Poor guy. I hope that after we win this battle, the war will be won as well.
