QuestionTicker Factory age tracker in sig

Ok, please don't think I am stupid! I just find this so mind boggling. The Ticker Factory age tracker in my sig does not have Diesel's age correct!

I did put in his DOB, Feb 12, 2010, so by my calculations it should say he is 9 months, 1 week old. Not 8 months, 2 weeks old.

    I just don't get it!

    Feb - Mar 12 / 1 month
    Mar - Apr 12 / 2 months
    Apr - May 12 / 3 months
    May - June 12 / 4 months
    June - July 12 / 5 months
    July - Aug 12 / 6 months
    Aug - Sept 12 / 7 months
    Sept - Oct 12 / 8 months

It's not November 12th yet so it wouldn't be a full 9 months until the 12th.
It gets confusing when you are counting by weeks because it's not exactly 4 weeks in a month. That's how i see it anyways.

I agree that is usually how I calculate dates, but I guess because when I got him he was 9 weeks & it sounded cuter to me to say he was 9 weeks, 10 weeks, etc instead of he's just over 2 months, he's almost 3 months, etc etc. So I got used to counting his weeks. He's 37 weeks old if you count weekly which equals 9.25 months when divided by 4.

Okay. I give up. I guess he gets another special treat on November 12th since I celebrate it every 3 months until he turns 1 year!! Amanda, Diesel thanks you!

I did the exact same thing and the 5 week months had me all screwed up. I got tired of trying to keep track plus the vet wasn't calculating it that way so i just went ahead and started going by months. I still think the ticker is off by like a week but oh well what do they know
