My husband and I felt bad for the girls since this was their first weekend not going up to the boat since April so we decided to drive south to the Alum Creek dog park. Never having been to a dog park before we were a tad hesitant. When we got there the main area for big dogs was packed so we decided to go to the area that had access to the lake since nobody was in there. After a swim, some butt tucking and eating about a dozen apples, we moved to the big dog area where our girls LOVED it! We entered through the back gate and stuck to the not so crowded end. The girls made quick friends, had a great time and are napping ever so soundly now......Aghhhh.

Great pictures, Daisy thinks chasing apples is great too, cause you get to eat 'em!

Glad they had fun. Your apple story lit my eyes. We went out to a local orchard this weekend, sans HK. Ed was not real happy. While we were there, we saw a lot of folks with their dogs. I tell DW we are coming back in two weeks and bringing HK. Then as we walked amongst the trees, apples on the ground. 100s, maybe 1000s. Taking HK may not be such a good idea. Won't be able to get her home. Maybe she will apple eat herself to death. Decisions, decisions.

Sounds like a wonderful afternoon. Love the last pic.
