DefaultHow to remove Saliva Stains from Yellow Dogs

Newton had a bacteria infection on his elbow that the vet was treating. How do I get the saliva stains off his fur. His white/yellow coat has a brownish tinge to it from him licking it. I have tried a few things, (peroxide, and an over the counter tear stain product). Anyone have anything they use or have heard that works?

I was going to suggest the tear stain thing.
Paddy had a stain spot on his flank - his favorite lick spot. I never could get it to fade.

and if they lick their feet/legs on light carpet; forget those stains coming out, too!
