DefaultOur village hall is right next to the field where I sometimes walk the dogs

This evening, somebody had hired the hall for a birthday party for children.

Just as we were leaving the field so the party people were leaving and being sociable dogs Jasper and Dylan went over to say hello to all of the children.

I went over to rescue them ( I worry about the cars leaving the car park with the dogs running around ) and having collared Jasper I went off in search of Dylan only to find him with his nose in a party bag with a large piece of cake clamped between his jaws.

Stupid people had put the party bags on the ground in order to load their children into the car and anything near a dog's nose belongs to the dog.

I prised his jaws open and told him off - he knows better than to steal.....well obviously he doesn't but I wasn't going to let him eat it ( it was still wrapped in a serviette ) and I wasn't going back to own up to the theft.

Another classic example of ............. if you fed the poor dog properly, he wouldn't be so starving that he'd have to resort to such measures.

You should be ashamed of yourself!
