All 3 got Frontlined Saturday. I found 2 fleas on Frankie's underside this morning. I used regular Frontline, not the Plus (which kills the eggs).

Is there anything I can do now to get rid of them? He won't be due for another dose of Frontline until 10/16.

    *sigh*

Capstar gets rid of the live ones. You should be able to get it locally at Petsmart or Petco.

Sorry Amy, I never had much luck with Frontline. I stick to Advantix. Hope the other stuff helps.

Yep, I was going to suggest Capstar or a flea bath.. but Capstar is probably easier with multiple dogs!

Capstar will kill all the fleas but does not continue to kill beyond the one time application. Also if you continue to have a problem indoors I highly recommend traeting your carpets with FleaBuster powder. It works for a year and is completely non-toxic.

I'd Capstar, wash really well to remove the Frontline and treat with Advantage Multi (you have cats right?) or just give Comfortis (monthly chewable flea treatment - think Capstar that lasts 30 days).

I don't think Frontline or Frontline Plus work at all in our area anymore Amy

Frontline has always worked me. But I might have missed a month or two.

No carpets other than throws and they'll all get washed again.

Amy, I always swore by Frontline, too. I've been hearing that it hasn't been working so great this summer, tho. Seems like the fleas have built up an immunity to it. Caleb came home from NYS with fleas. He got a flea bath up there (more to wash the all natural spray off that I put on him and couldn't stand), then 3 days later I FLed him. Since then I've simply gone over him with a flea comb and used that spray I don't like on a paper towel to kill what I've found (maybe 10 in the month or so since we went to my friends). I also bought a flea collar. No, I didn't put it on Caleb. LOL I cut a piece off and put it in the vacuum bag. I was thinking about Capstar. I didn't realize Ed had it!
