DefaultI need to learn to say the right words

Toby loves to play with(pick on) the cats and I am forever saying "out!!" Which I mean get out of the bathroom where the cats like to hang out...so when I say OUT he thinks I mean for him to go OUTside to potty!!

Btw: he has discovered the litter box and thinks it's great....YUCK!!

I know all about the litter box - Aila use to get treats out of the litter box and chew them like they were beef jerky ... disgusting! I decided to change the litter box and got one that looks like an ingloo - it has a cover that is domed shape and it has a covered ramp that the cat walks up to get to the litter part of it. It's great, it gives the cat some privacy and Aila can't get her narrow snout in it to get any more treats.

Try SCOOT or VAMOOSE or something like that for the bathroom.

    tkeizer,

We have that same litter box! It worked amazing miracles. The dogs were so completely perplexed they never bothered it and they love a good poo snack! Then we had puppies. We had one precocious trouble maker left, just like her momma, well she was so tiny she just followed the cats right in the litter box. Mom and Dad saw that and said "Oh! We can get in there!" They just put their heads in the stair area and lift... Lunch for everyone! ARGH! They don't seem to bother it too much but that little one... grrrr, teaching her parents a new trick. Bad puppy girl! LOL

Here's what I used when there was a cat issue (there isn't now): DONTCHASECATS Over and over and over and over.
Don't chase cats. Run the words together so the three words become one. DONTCHASECATS. This was also highly successful when Paddy would run after squirrels - DONTCHASECATS. Well, then I began using it for any small animal. DONTCHASECATS.

That is funny! Aila hasn't figured out yet that she could probably lift the top off - thank goodess because cat poop breath is not pleasant!

DONTCHASECATS = 21 pts in Scrabble. Plus a bonus for using all seven tiles (and then some). That's 71 without any word or letter bonuses.
