    DefaultRash near surgery site? (graphic)

Kona is home and at the moment is all doped up on Percocet and anti-biotics So I'm hoping to get some sleep!
But first, I had a question with respect to this rash to the left of her incision. It's bright red and looks really uncomfortable (but that could just be me). I'm going to phone the vet in the morning but I wanted opinions from wise JL in the meantime. What do you think?

Oh and "Kon"-head (conehead...get it? Ok, maybe I'm tired but I think it's funny) wanted to say hi before she fell asleep again.

Oh what a sweet girl!! Give her smooches from Java!!
As for the rash...it looks like razor burn to me. You can put a little Neosporin on it if she won't lick it off.

    Probably clipper burn.

Boy, she does not look pleased in that second pic!

    Get better soon, Kona!

I wouldn't have thought of it on my own but I think the razor rash responses are probably right.
She looks pretty alert in that last pic!

Yea, that's exactly the way I'm feeling. I don't know why I didn't think of razor rash right away. Called the vet and he agreed that that's probably what it is.
    Thanks SO much guys!

She's very alert - a little loopy from the meds, but she's moving well on her pee breaks and wants tons of attention. Even had a bowel movement this morning already! Yay!

Java had it a little bit after her second TPLO.

Wishing a very speedy recovery. Give her some "scritches" from Payton.
