Wyatt is almost a year old (WOW, that was fast).
He's been out of his crate at night for months now.
For the past few weeks we have been leaving him out for short periods when we leave the house. We'll do it for an hour or 2 here and there when we know he's tired and will just sleep while we are gone.
Last week one night we left him out for 3 hours and when I came home he and Elias were in our bed sleeping.
Yesterday, after I went home at lunch time I left him out. I was nervous because he was full of energy from being in the crate from 8am-12pm. My husband got home from work at 5 and called me and said not a thing was out of place.
Today we left him out this morning from 9am-1pm and I just talked to my husband who stopped home at lunch time and he said, again, the house was fine!
YAY WYATT (knock on wood)
I've just been through that although Dylan's first escapade at 12 months went wrong but this time around.....fingers crossed !
BTW I lost a toilet roll today but that's a Labrador's right of passage isn't it ?
YAY WYATT!! Isn't that such a great feeling?!Awwwwwwww!!Last week one night we left him out for 3 hours and when I came home he and Elias were in our bed sleeping.

Good Boy Wyatt! Behaving is a small price to pay for a nice cosy spot on the bed!
*Does the crate-free dance* Gooooood boy Wyatt!
Daisy snagged the toilet paper roll on her first free day, and one VHS movie cover, but nothing since then! She's 10 months.
