DefaultSkippy need your prayers - UPDATE

Thank you all so much for thinking of Skippy and me today. He will be spending the night at the vets - he is "full of poop" - has a small bone shard that shouldn't cause any problem. They gave him a "warm soapy enema" this AM, but when I called after 3pm, he had only "pooped a little" and they were "still working with him". They want to keep him overnight. Much as Emilu and I want our boy back home, I'm glad they wanted to keep him till he is better. I don't feel like he is out of the woods yet - so keep him in your thoughts.

I am going to be waiting at the vets with Skippy when they open today. He was sick last night when I got home, panting, pacing, getting up and down, up and down, hunching up, but not really trying to poop. He wouldn't eat anything. I was worried about possible bloat or obstruction. I called the vet around 8pm and described the symptoms. He told me where to go for an emergency, or to take him to the office first thing in the morning if he wasn't better. During the night I got up with him 2 times and followed him around the yard, this time he was trying to poop but couldn't. So it's off to the vets first thing this morning. He doesn't seem as frantically uncomfortable as he did last night, but still can't poop. I'm very worried about my boy. Worst thing is that SU is going to be gone overnight tonight, so I'm on my own. Oh and the main reason I know that he really doesn't feel well - that tail hasn't wagged at all. I've never seen Skippy's tail not wag.

Prayers and good thoughts for Skippy, hope it's maybe just a case of 'cold tail' that's making him miserable.
