    SmilePersonalised number plate!

I'm so excited, my husband just bought me for my birthday next week and Christmas rolled into one a personalised number plate for the car.

Over here in the UK it is quite hard to have one that is completely personal to us as we have to stick to a set of letters and numbers, often you can get your initials or make your name from a combination but most of the good ones are taken.

Any way Mark managed to get me

like Labs with a kiss on the end, I am thrilled and can't wait to get them on my car

    That's gr8t -- ENJOY!!

Since I've tricked out my '06 Honda Civic Hybrid (4 dr) especially for Puff's comfort (retracting sun roof, leather seats, plastic awnings over side windows, interior water dish, etc.), it seemed fitting to have personalized license plates to reflect that. So mine read:

    LAB CAB

We're limited to 7 characters -- spaces, letters, or numerals.

(I claim no credit for it, I requested help on JL for ideas and our JL member in Hawaii, Zoe's Mom, who suggested this.)

It typically brings wide grins and smiles on the faces of people who see the license plate plus Puff sitting in the front shotgun seat beside me.

BTW, Kate, was K8 3JS (or K8 JJJ) already taken?

How cool. Nice plate - Congrats! ...And Happy Birthday!

They definitely fetch big money in the UK. I bought one for my mum years ago. It was a good investment.

Here in Virginia it costs $10 per year to have one.

How cool is that! Enjoy. You'll have to take a pic once you get it mounted on the car.

Very cool, I know they're really difficult to get over there. And happy birthday, what a great gift!

My Mini Cooper S has plates that say "TRXIE" ("her" name, of course), and the SUV has plates that read "WET LAB" since that's what's frequently in the back. (Here in Texas, we're limited to 6, though it was 5 when I got the Mini's plates.)
