    DefaultNew Rescue at home

Hi everyone. My wife and I brought home our new rescue lab yesterday. She is a 5 yr old Yellow beauty. She is a sweetheart of a girl, very relaxed, and loves to play fetch. I don't think I could have asked any more out of a dog. I will get more photos up when I get my camera operational again, this is from my cell so sorry about the quality. Until then here is Sarah and our 5 yr. old Jack (Jack Russell/Poodle mix).

She's beautiful! Reminds me of my Bessie...we adopted our yellow girl as she turned 6 and enjoyed the next nine years with her. Thanks for adopting sweet Sarah, and double thanks for taking a mature lab! Years of fun and love await.

Thanks for the support. Jack has done very well with her around, there was a few seconds of getting to know each other and things have been great since. We also have 3 kids (7, 4, 10 months) and Sarah is fantastic with them around. She still is getting settled in I think, she pants quite a bit and has had a runny stool lastnight and this morning. She is eating and drinking well and seems to be accepting her new surroundings just fine. She does have a lump on her hind leg, the foster parent said it was a fatty tumor but I'm going to have it checked out next week just to be safe. I have wanted a lab for quite some time and this is my first, I can honestly see now how this breed can become a best freind!!

Awww, she is lovely! I'm glad you and your wife are so pleased with her. Give Miss Sarah a big hug from Paddysmom, won't you?
