    Defaultpup grumbles

Is this normal? Dio sometimes grumbles and makes a Scooby sound when playing. It sounds hilarious, but is he ok? Maybe he's frustrated? After he grumbles, he'll get up and walk away.

    He's talking to himself!

My girl Fanny at 7 will walk around crying when given a new squeaky toy.

Judy also makes noises and barks to herself even when she's alone in another room. I would love to know what's going on in her head.
I too think Dio is talking to himself.

Aidan is our grumbler...he is just more vocal than the other 2. I don't think it's necessarily 100% frustration based. He just seems to be more verbal when interacting with other dogs and us.

My Angel also talks to herself or anyone that will listen. It gets irritating sometimes when she's "talking back" but mostly because you are trying to keep a serious face when all you want to do is bust out laughing. ::grumblegrumblegrumble::

Saba grumbles. Especially when I want to sit on the sofa to watch TV while he's lying on it all streched out and I try to gently move his legs so I can have at least 10 inches of the couch in the corner.... all I get is attitude grumbles..

    oh yeah!
Rocky is huge on the grumbles and groans. I can be quietly sitting when suddenly, out of no where, he lets a HUGE, long moan out, just like a human. Or he'll let out a grumble. I usually take it to mean "I'm BOOOOORRED"

Lexi is most definitely a grumbler or what I say a talker. She grumbles for any reason or sometimes no reason at all.

Like MitziandJudysmom said, I would love to know what on earth is going on in their heads.

    My pretty girl, Lexi!
