Just dropping in to see how things are going Pat. You and Skippy are in my thoughts and prayers.
That's so nice - Skippy is still with us - but he is almost a skeleton - no muscle mass at all and you can see every line in his skull. He can still wag his tail though, and he still manages to go out twice a day to potty. The light in his eyes is dimming though........
All is not completely sad here though - Emilu DEMANDS some joy in her life, and the kitties can always make me laugh with their goofiness.
I'm soooooo sorry for your heartache. I know its hurting because it is so painful to not be able to help them. I wish that our paw friends could live forever. I will keep you in my prayers.

I am brand new to this site. my prayers go out to you. We just lost our 8 yr old choc lab.he was a therapy dog mast cell tumor was found in belly.five weeks later he is doing work in a higher place.this is worst than loosing a family member he leaves behind a 6 year old compaion (choc lab). also a therapy dog they were known as the Bernie and munson team going every where togather reading with childern, hospital visits, church, hospic home visits.I will have to answer to 400 children this fall where is bernie.
the hardest part is the decision to do what has to be done. Bernie looked into my eyes and sole the night before and told me it was time.We miss him everyday. If they did not give us so much love it would not hurt so much.
I am so sorry Pat. It must be breaking your heart.
Patrick I am sorry for your loss.
