Skippy was not getting any better, and was looking more bloated, so I took him back to the vet today to try to get some more information on what might be wrong. I also took a urine specimen in , which was very high in bilirubin. Had an x-ray, thinking that it might indicate a mass - had a lot of free fluid in his abdomen - then had an ultrasound of his abdomen, which just showed so much fluid that nothing else could be seen. What this all indicates is a tumor somewhere, involving the liver at this point. Given Skippy's age, I am not going to put him through any more testing, that would just show something that coulnd't be treated anyways. It is up to my boy now, to tell me what he wants to do. I feel exhausted......
I'm so sorry about this news. Good thoughts for both of you.

Offer Skippy one small tenderness from Paddysmom?
Just a little stroke under his chin or something?
