    DefaultBUDDY Update

Buddy went into surgery this morning to remove his huge mass in his abdomen.
It took a little less than 2 hrs. Vet just called me and said it was between two layers of muscle and not attached to the stomach wall as originally thought. The surgeon had mesh on hand just in case. He told me it would be an add'l. $1,600 if needed and since he did 3 prior surgeries on Buddy, he was donating it and not charging me for it if it was used!! These are the best vets ever!
It's going for biopsy but neither seems too concerned so I'm taking that as a good sign.
He's got a pretty large incision and is in recovery as I'm typing. I'll post again when I know more.
Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes.
    Pam

Glad to hear it did not involve the stomach. Prayers for benign biopsy and a quick recovery.

Oh thank God, Pam! That's so odd though, I'm really curious to find out what it was. Prayers for a quick recovery!!!
