    DefaultName for new pup?

What does everyone think of the name "Mason" for our new yellow lab pup. He's only 3 weeks right now but we're having fun brainstorming names and anticipating his arrival. Em

You may decide on one name now, then when you get him home, find it doesn't 'suit' him. Keep a few names on a short list, and see what works best for all of you when you get him home.

I agree. Get a list and try them out when you get him home. He may not look like a Mason at 8 weeks. It's a cool name tho.

I would have to say that I love the name Mason. And, that's only because my 22 month old Chocolate is named Mason. I guess I'm a little partial!

I think Mason is a great name.

Baloo was named Baloo before he was even born. I tried out TONS of other names but always kept coming back to "Baloo".

It fits him eerily well. Even friends and family members have commented on how perfectly his name suits him. So, sometimes the ones that stick out early on ARE the ones that turn out perfectly.

I like Mason! Count me as another though, that had a name picked out before I brought her home and then let her go nameless for two days while I tried out everything under the sun!
