Well day 1 is in the books. It was long and eventful and started like this:
-We went to breeder and I picked her up and she was shaking out of control. We got her in the car and she laid down on my wife's lap and relaxed and then fell asleep! We made one stop ont eh way home to my wife's work and stoli got out and ran around and played with all the girls (also peed on the bank floor LOL)
-We then got her home and she played in the yard for a bit. We took her out every hour or so and she eventually went to the bathroom outside (twice instead 1st)
-While she was out I took her crate and set it up. I put her toys in there and she went right in!! I closed the door and she looked up and then took a nap! I think that is a good sign.
- After feeding her (she picked at it) we took her out one last time and then put her int he crate and closed it for the night. She cried out 6x throughout the night (went pee 5 of those times outside) but had no accidents in crate!! Man did she really want to play each time but we let her cry for a few and she went back to sleep each time.
-Finally this morning she went out, ate, and then we caught her squatting so we brought her out and she went #2 for the first time!! Now she is playing and running around with her toys!!
Overall a lot of getting up but I think the 1st night was successful
She does lick herself/and rear leg a lot. I hope that is ok or normal??
Here are some pics....
I'm not sure about the licking. I would think it's normal unless it becomes excessive, then I'd have a vet check her out. Remember to be careful where she is allowed to walk (places other than your yard) as she hasn't had all her puppy shots and public places are full of disease. I love her face and her name is so cool!!!
What a cutie! She's adorable.

She's darling and it sounds like a good start. Hooray on liking the crate!
(Love the little night light by the food bowls.)

Stoli is just precious but those bare feet won't last long if she's anythink like our Abby was. Keep posting: it may keep us away from the golden puppies I showed in another post

She's very cute. You'll have lots of fun with her!
Sound like an awesome first day...I am sure there are many more to come
