    Help me out !
Is this normal behavior and how soon will she grow out of it?

Starts in the yard, playing with her ball, realizes I'm walking inside and races me to the door, proceeds to run like a lunatic around the dining room table, coffee table, outside again around the deck table, picks up a couple of leaves - runs insided jumps on the sofa - jumps off and starts all over again. My pleads to stop went ignored (perhaps because I was laughing and didnt sound very demanding) and unnoticed and it seemed to give her momentum and speed! I finally am able to stop her and she plops like nothing ever happened. This is the first time she's done this-- is thie normal behavior?
    she is 5 months old.....
    tell me it ain't so!!!

Yep, butt tucking at its best. I think it's a Lab's way of expressing pure unmitigated joy.

Ah yes the full glory and pure joy coming out in a labby butt-tuck!

Yes, this is totally normal. Happens at any time & for any reason. Sometimes for no reason at all & without warning.

Just stay out of her way & enjoy the laughs!

    My pretty girl, Lexi!

Oh so normal! See what you have to look forward too? More butt-tucking. It is so funny to watch and they are having such a happy, joyful moment that I just let them go and stay out the way. It doesn't usually last for more than a few minutes but it is a pleasure to watch each and every time. So you are now a true labby parent!!!

Yup! Labs do this for the pure joy of living, I think. Ours do it way more in the cooler months, though, too much work when it's warm out.

Yeah, the only thing better than a lab butt-tuckin' is two labs butt tuckin' and meeting in the middle for a little bitty face.

I said- "you have to have a Lab to understand".
    Is Butt-tucking an official term?
