CoolBreed a smaller but well formed chocolate

Sadie is beautiful and has a great temperment. She's 18 months old. I want a litter of puppies from her. My concern is although she has a very defined form, she's small...perhaps a runt. She's about 38 pounds and stands about 2/3 of the height of our yellow lab female. I don't want her to get into trouble trying to deliver oversized puppies or those with big block heads.

If I breed her to small sized chocolate does that produce smaller puppies? I'd even consider breeding to a poodle. I want one puppy for myself from her. :

What is your rationale for breeding this bitch? Is she exceptional (determined by a disinterested 3rd party expert in Labs) and been proven in the field or in the show ring or in obedience/agility? Has she been tested and cleared for all potential genetic issues Labs can have and pass on?

Breeding can be very expensive and potentially cause a medical emergency for your girl - can you afford it if she winds up in the emergency vets and the bill climbs to 5 grand or more because you want one puppy from her?

There needs to be a really good reason to breed - not just that you want to. To deliberately breed a dog who does not conform to the breed standard (as yours does not due to her very small stature) is not responsible.

As for breeding her to a Poodle - aren't there already plenty of mutts in shelters? You could get a great companion there without adding to the problem.

I am assuming this is a joke post because of the jumping llamas. I hope I am right.

Those are llamas? I thought they were like "greatdanedoodles" or something. Must check glasses.
