Light, "weedy" individuals are definitely incorrect; equally objectionable are cloddy lumbering specimens. Labrador Retrievers shall be shown in working condition well-muscled and without excess fat. Females should weigh between 55 and 70lbs and Males between 65 and 80lbs. Height females 21.5 to 23.5 inches males 22.5 to 24.5 inches at the withers.

I'm not sure if I read your Title correctly - but do you mean you had your puppy on the treadmill for 3 hours? That sounds like an awfully long time for a young pup. I suppose it depends on how fast it was going, but even still 3 hours is a long time. When Aila was 3 months old, we started her on the treadmill, but only for 5 - 10 minute intervals, then a 2 - 3 minute break, and then another 5 - 10 minutes, building up from a slow walk to a fast trot. As she has gotten older (she's now 8 months), we have pretty much kept the time intervals the same, but the pace has increased to where she is running quite fast.

However, every dog is different. If your puppy can handle 3 hours on the treadmill, then that's great.

BTW -- he is a cutie!!
