DefaultJust in: Puff's stools show no fluke/trematode signs.

I just received an e-mail from K-State -- there are no signs of Heterobilharzia americana found in her sedimented stool sample yesterday.

They've sent a portion of the fecal material to a GI lab at Texas A&M which does a much more sensitive test to see if there's any sign of H.A. DNA still in her system.

If so, we'll repeat 10 days of Fenbendazole, wait 14 days, and test stools again.

    That's a welcome relief.

I was psyching myself up to having to go another round. Now, I'm 95% believing the TX A&M GI lab's report will also be negative.

    :whew!:

Puff is going to miss all that special attention. Maybe TX A&M will come through for her. <g>

    Good news, Bob!
