DefaultI need a breeder referral for IN, MI, OH, KY

For a friend, NOT ME, ha ha!

My friend Cindy is looking for a yellow Lab breeder in the states I mentioned. When I met Cindy 8 yrs. ago, I met her 2 yellow Labs and it was their fault that I got addicted to yellow Labs! Since then, both have passed and she's wanting to find a reputable breeder. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

As soon as possible but could you give me their name or PM me? They live in Carmel, IN but are willing to drive. And, I can give your friend references on them, as I was their dog walker for 3 years. Their last dog had severe allergies and hip dysplasia so they are really checking into everything before they pick a breeder. They would be willing to wait til Jan. for the right breeder. THANKS!!

I suggest contacting JL member Labby/Laura in Michigan. Laura's a reputable breeder of bench Labs and knows of many others in that region. She produces only black and yellows.

    See her website at: www.kelrobin.com

In addition to the ones mentioned, East Hill Labradors in Howell, Michigan is absolutely wonderful. She was our Spud's breeder.

As a matter of fact, if you go to the gallery on her page, she has a photo of Spud dock diving. I send her photos and stories about Spud all the time. She loves hearing about her dogs, no matter where they are or how long they've been gone from her.

I've heard good things about Tom and Gail Shearer of Bonaventure Labs. I've never purchased from them, so you would still have to do your homework. Unless Laura knows them.

They have some great looking dogs. And some Dickendall Labs in their lines.

And the real question here, is what do they do with this information that they collect – that does not have anything to do with al-Qaeda? And we’re gonna trust the president and the vice president that they’re doing the right thing? Don’t count me in on that.”
