Last night we picked our new puppy. A yellow female, my daughter named her Miley (after Miley Stewart from hanna Montana) she will be ready to come home with us on the 18th of June. I took a few pictures last night on my phone, but haven't got them downloaded yet. I will post some on Tuesday after we get home from camping for the Holiday.

A quick question while I am at it:

Where do most of you buy your pet supplies (best prices)? Petco, Tractor Supply, petsmart, walmart...etc.

I shop at a local chain called JB Pet Supply.

Congratulations! I can't wait to see pictures. I love Tractor Supply! But I buy food and treats and the local feed store. They have good quality food and treats, and I like to support the little mom and pop stores. I wouldn't buy anything from walmart. It all comes from China. Questionable ingredients.

I would never plan on buying pet food from walmart. I actually try to avoid that place if at all possible. We had a local feed store, but it closed down. I will look for another within reason for shopping.

If you go to a knowledgeable pet specific store they should be able to help you get set up for your new puppy. Find out what kind of food the breeder has the pup on and buy that.

Talk to her breeder, she'll be able to help you with food, and where to get it.

Walmart carries Purina One, and that is not a bad food.
