Would a proper breeder advertise like this?! (I know some one who wants to go look at them and I am trying to put them off). What questions could they ask that would put this seller on the spot terms of being proper breeding etc?

No. A respnsible breeder doesn't have classified ads and you'll spend quite a bit more than that for a well bred pup.
It was always my understanding you couldn't sell animals or children on ebay. Maybe things have changed.
I do know a number of great breeders who advertise like this, but the people who reply are always very well screened.
And I do agree, especially with a large breed, active dog like a weim, TOO CHEAP. They're known for allergies, seizures, hip, elbow, hock issues, eye trouble...so for a puppy to even see an opthamologist for an ACVO clearances, if they were good, they'd be charging MORE.

I have no objection to how anyone advertises but pure bred pups for $175 hmmm Clearances?
I know lots of very good, ethical breeders who have produced FC, AFC, *** and lots of MH dogs that selectively advertise litters. But not on ebay or Craigs list. For the price of those puppies, the owner would be WAY in the hole on clearances and vet care (hopefully vet care!). Sounds like an "oops" litter clearout.
