I am trying to make a list of what is neccesary for her arrival. This is what I have. Any thing yall can think of to add would be great:
Dog Bed and Blankets/Towels
Toys(getting more tonight)
Food (trying to choose a brand now)
Other things I need:
Nature's Miracle (spray for when puppy has accidents)
Bitter Apple (spray on items you don't want puppy to chew)
toothbrush and toothpaste for dogs (get puppy used to you brushing now)
I also recommend sleeping with a couple of toys and/or the blanket for their crate...your scent will soothe them.
Camera! Don't forget lots of pictures!
Melissa, Remy & Brooklyn
You will be able to participate in a lively discussion on different food and how many different best in the worlds there are, along with many worst in the worlds. Hot topic, lots of opinions.
Hershey Kisses, In charge of getting Ed out to the dog park so that he gets some exercise.
I'D tag for the pups collar.
Clicker is a good idea for training.
Also stock up on paper towels and anti-bacterial spray for toilet training.
Little bite-sized tasty treats and lots of "good potty" enthusiasm!
PICS! PICS! PICS!
The first thing I tell new puppy owners : DO NOT put the pup in her crate with a collar on. It could get snagged and the pup would panic and could choke himself to death.
Don't get her any toys that can be destroyed easily, and especially don't leave her in the crate with them. I recommend nylabones (I still have 4 or 5 from 4 years ago when Frankie was a pup), and definitely buy a kong.

I would gradually switch from the Purina One to Purina Pro Plan Puppy Large breed...but it's completely up to you. We all have our favorite food we use and our Labs do well on.
Very exciting time! Take lots of video and pics and congrats!
